Welcome to CVFC2012
Dear participants, friends and fellow fencing fans,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our sunny shores for what we hope will be a fantastic competition for all of you.
Singapore is very proud and honored to be a part of the Commonwealth fencing community and we are overjoyed to be able to host this edition of the Veterans' Championships.
Going by past Championships, I expect the competition to be fast, furious, and of course full of laughs. Singapore has much to offer off the piste in terms of food, drink and entertainment so I hope you will take full advantage of your evenings to take in the sights.
Our team are gearing up to make sure the event lives up to the strong reputation that has been built up over the years and I would like to thank all of them, especially the Fencing Singapore Secretary General Francis Kwong for all the hard work they have put in already and will no doubt continue to do so in the months ahead.
